5 stars is not enough. I cannot express how great of a shop this is. I
made the mistake of going to Summit first. After 2 days down and
they only fixed 1 of the 2 problems, I left and came here. With no
notice they go me into the shop within half an hour from arrival at
8:00 a.m. They diagnosed and fixed the boost issue I was having
and I got back on the road so quick I didn’t even have to cancel my
load. I was lucky to have them work on my baby.

They moved to this location and are fixing it up, so don’t judge a
book by its cover. These are some of the nicest people I have
come across in all my travels. Owners are on site and proactive.
Even their dog makes the rounds!
Had my trailer repaired for leaking air tank. They installed a new
tank got me in right away amd done in a couple hours with a
very reasonable price. I look foward to their future renovation
and will stop in again if I should need repairs while Im in
Amarillo.

Absolutely the best shop I have been to in my trucking career. I
will definitely be going back to them anytime I have an issue.

Here at Bekins we depend on our trucks to be up and running to make our

AC craps out and the phone says the "feels like" temp is at 104 heading
thru Amarillo towards Dallas. I pull into the TA on the east side of town.
Those parts changers took less than 5 minutes looking at the truck, said it
was the ac condenser then spent 30 minutes putting a bill of $1400
together. I'll pass, criminals. Thank goodness for Google who turned me
on to Baldwin Truck and Trailer. Called, spoke with a very amiable woman
on the phone (didn't get a name, sorry) who told me to bring the truck on
in. Greeted by a gentleman named Ernie and the 1st thing he did was stop
what he was doing and listen. He then says lets go have a look, came
outside in that 104 degree Texas heat, sized up the truck and thought as I
did, it probably wasn't the condenser, but he didn't pretend to be a know it
all and had me pull the truck right on into bay 5 and he would have John
come take a gander. This John fella is like the Yoda of a/c repair work.
Absolutely amazing, he had the condenser remounted and the a/c system
making snow cones with in an hour. And he did it with a certain calming
presence, hence the Yoda moniker. Time to settle up and there I meet the
company president Mr. Dudley Baldwin, a kind man who graciously made
change for $5 so I could rehydrate with an ice cold water after driving in a
sauna for a couple hundred miles, thank you sir. In the office I also met a
runway model named Shannon (Giselle who?) whose incredibly pleasant
personality and that Texas charm thing some women have in this state
made paying for repairs somehow delightful. This shop is awesome all the
way around, I mean attentive, courteous, humility, skill, talent, charm,
sprinkle all that with beauty and a president who possesses a just one of
the guys disposition and you have a 5 Star Shop.
Sorry for being so verbose in this review, but the people deserve to know.

Trailer repair in the past, they offer great service, Great
communication, and they got my truck back up and running as
quick as possible.

I was having problem with the seal on my truck. Guys change the
seal right away even was at 4:00 pm. Price estimate was the
same as we talk on the phone.

I had to come back and re-review Baldwin Truck and Trailer repair.
Due to the fact that they were one of the single most best repair shops I
have ever been to. They were very knowledgeable while I was describing
over the phone the issues I was having with my truck.
They were very honest, they actually figured out ways to save me money
by advising different routes to go for a more efficient experience.
They were fast in their work, Repair downtime costs a lot of money, they
know this and made it their priority to get the repairs done so I could get
back on the road with as little downtime as possible.
The owner and staff are both professional and friendly people that treat
you like a customer that they really want to have coming back for good.
From now on all of my repairs will be done at Baldwin Truck and Trailer
Repair, and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you

My transmission went out on 8/26/2019. I went to their shop as
soon as they opened and they had Felix jump right on it. After
determining that it couldn’t be fixed we brought a new
transmission and clutch to them the next morning and they had
me back on the road to Dallas where I had a family emergency.
They were fast, friendly and had great rates. Upon completion of
the work the owner himself test drove my truck to make sure it
was up to his standards. I want to thank the shop manger, Felix
the mechanic that worked on my truck and the entire office staff
for all of your help. They even took me to a hotel so I didn’t have
to walk.
